Manuel Prieto

Manuel Prieto co-founded CTP with Parick Phillips during the summer of 2011. He serves as a Teaching Artist for Center Theatre Group’s Project D.A.T.E. (Direct Access Theatre Experience) managing accessibility services for blind/low vision and deaf/hard of hearing patrons and Programs manager for The Los Angeles Music and Art School managing partnerships and educational programming. He holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Theatre Design from the University of Southern California. He most recently costumed Jenny and Lalo for Lunamar Productions, scenic designed Kim Kardashian’s Wedding for E! Network and scenic designed the world premiere of Letters from Zora with Vanessa Bell Calloway. He is currently designing for The Los Angeles Theatre Center. At USC, he costumed On the Town and City of Angels for Tony Award-winning actor/director John Rubinstein and designed dozens of other projects.  With CTP, he has produced and designed Spring Awakening and Chicago and is excited to be part of Rent at USC. www,manuelprietolam.com
